McRey "Mac" Moyer, game designer

I'm the owner of Secret Doors Game Studio LLC. Cobras in the Cockpit is not the first game I've ever designed, but it's the first one I prepared for commercial release.

In my spare time, I enjoy writing fiction and playing RPGs and board games. I have a fondness for Pez dispensers, Lego toys, and all things Star Wars. I've worked professionally in the software industry for six years, and my gaming articles have been published in Pyramid Magazine. My wife Joellen and I share our Oregon home with three dogs and three cats. We only have one snake, and we discourage it from using commercial airlines.

I've recently returned to the world of freelance graphic design, having spent the past few years doing software QA. Cobras in the Cockpit is the first board game I've worked on and is the biggest project I've undertaken as the lone artist.

I'm a native Oregonian and have been living in Eugene since I graduated from the UofO. Along with playing games, I also enjoy reading and writing comics, animation, sci-fi, and collecting toys (I'm still a big kid at heart). I'm also obsessed with design, whether it be mechanical, visual, political, or business related. I spend a lot of time thinking of ways to make good designs even better.
